Radio 1RPH has been part of the Hands Across Canberra Annual Giving Day appeal. We would like to thank our generous donors who have helped us to meet our target and achieve the extra $5,000 in matched funding.
Our roving reporters, David Moncrieff and Sue Jose, have mixed audio description with interviews about the Enlighten illuminations on display in Canberra’s Parliamentary triangle.

Every $1 you donate will become $2 with matched funding available for the first $5,000 raised by each of our charities.
On Thursday the 4th our president Sandra along with the station manager David attended an introductory session to learn how Hands Across Canberra will help Radio 1RPH and other local non-for-profit community organizations raise funds. Hands Across Canberra invests in programs that strengthen the Canberra community. The campaign helps charities by matching donations made through individual fundraising with corporate donations.
