Radio 1RPH Appeal 22-28 September 2020
Did you know that over 20% of Australians have some form of print disability? Radio 1RPH has been turning print into sound for ACT and regional NSW listeners for nearly 40 years.
Our free radio reading service is run almost entirely by volunteers, operating from dedicated studios and offices off the Barton Highway in Gungahlin, Canberra. We offer lively and interesting programmes 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including daily newspaper readings, magazines and book readings twice a day.
We need you more than ever in these uncertain times. 1RPH could not operate without the generous donations of our listeners and supporters. They help us to keep the studios and transmitters operating, and meet the costs of insurances, subscriptions and technical support.
That’s why we are having an Appeal in September and we are asking people to give generously, so that we can stay on air and continue to entertain and inform you. The appeal will be held from 22nd-28th September. Please help us by making a tax deductible donation to keep Radio 1RPH on air!
