Volunteer with Radio 1RPH

Radio 1RPH is run by our team of enthusiastic volunteers who come from all walks of life.

Some of the roles our volunteers enjoy include:

presenting or reading live to air shows
producing or presenting pre-recorded shows
reading books for broadcast
promotion and fundraising
program support roles
technicians and IT
carpentry, building and grounds maintenance.

In fact we can almost certainly find a use for any skill you possess. For those jobs that require specialist skills, such as live to air presentation or production, we provide free, comprehensive training and support set at your own pace.

We won’t throw you in the deep end! Come along to our Station Orientation to find out more about Radio 1RPH, take a tour of the station, learn about how we operate, and meet others.

The next station orientation sessions are on:

Saturday 18 April 2026, 2-4pm
