Radio 1RPH Licence Extended to Wagga

Radio 1RPH has been licenced by the Australian Broadcasting and Media Authority (ACMA) to extend its radio reading service to the Wagga Wagga area. The station will broadcast in the FM band on 89.5 MHz.

The new licence is an extension to the existing 1RPH licence which makes it necessary for the programmes to originate from Canberra. However, after the station is put into operation, newspapers and other information from the Wagga area will be added to our existing newspaper readings.

Latest News on the Project

Equipment for the transmitter has been purchased but due to delays concerning the legal documentation covering use of the site, our on-air date has had to be put back.

Radio 1RPH now expects to commence transmission in Wagga in July or August 2008.

If you would like to contact us for more information about the proposed station, you will find the contact details on our contacts page.
